Douar Souiri is not a conventional hotel, but a completely private Berber village situated close to Essaouira. As well as benefiting from all the services of a hotel resort, you can choose your accommodation, whether a large house (riads, ranging from 150 to 250 m²), an apartment (douiras, 43 to 64.5 m²) or a spacious suite with terrace and garden. A range of facilities are available in the centre of the village, including a clubhouse with swimming pool, a bar, restaurant, gym and hamman.
The large courtyard houses have been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 15 people and to benefit from the daily movement of the sun.
All the rooms are ground floor and organised around a central courtyard. The total area of terraces and courtyard totals 250 m², giving added space and light to the house, which also opens on all sides onto over 2000 m² of gardens.
The construction of the courtyard houses was inspired by rural methods and the Berber architecture of the Essaouira region. Rooms open onto terraces, the swimming pool, the garden or the courtyard and the whole house is bathed in light. The living areas are very spacious, enabling you to fully live the rhythm of the day: breakfast on the kitchen terrace, lunch in the large dining room and torchlit evenings on the spacious terrace by the garden…
The riad is available on a weekly or long weekend basis.

All the rooms are arranged around a central courtyard which opens directly onto the garden. The total surface area of the house is 153 m² and the private gardens range from 770 to 1333 m². All rooms open generously onto the outside and all houses benefit from a spacious rooftop terrace. The landscaped inside courtyard acts as a shady dining room and other rooms include a large fitted kitchen, a large living/dining room with fireplace, a small living room and spacious suites, each with their own bathroom and dressing room. The courtyard houses offer you the comfort of space for an exceptional holiday in Morocco.
